'Sights of Vauban' is very useful for services or visitors looking for
a street, or if somebody is interested in sustainable architecture and
urban concepts; also for sociologists and the opinion survey, for
students, scientists or constructing experts, working with urban
management.
'Sights of Vauban' respects privacy. Pictures of buildings don't show
humans. No connections will be done to the data of inhabitants. In
another way by example, common population registers offer data for
everybodies use. 'Sights of Vauban' don't run a data memory and there
are no entries what visitors of these pages are doing and nothing is
posted to other parties or to the Home Department.

Picture-Archive of the whole Model-District of Freiburg
'Sights of Vauban' is an archive complete pictured from the model
district. As known nobody realized such a project worldwide. There are
many other picture-libraries, but not organized cartographic and totaly
linked. 'Sights of Vauban' includes many informations about sustainable
concepts and many other features of the district.
Vauban gets also a lot of attention all over the world and while the
presentation of Vauban at the EXPO in China will start it becomes still
more intensiv. Life in a model district is under public viewing and it
is quite different living anonymous in a metropolis. The inhabitants of
Vauban used to practice a cosmopolitan, communicative life and in fact
of the mass-media monitoring and the voluminous interest of visitors
they are familiar with these relations.
The new Vauban-Register
is a listing of all enterprises and services inside the district. It is
sorted by the branches of trade. Publishing your business is free.
